Scope of Services 
The Surgery Center at 900 North Michigan Avenue (the "Center") currently provides peri-operative care to ambulatory adult, geriatric and pediatric patients. Surgical services include, but are not limited to: gynecology, plastics, ophthalmology, oral surgery, general surgery, podiatry, urology, and pain management. The Center is also equipped to provide service in orthopedics and ear, nose and throat.
The patients served include residents of Chicago and its suburbs, as well as individuals who travel to the Center domestically and internationally.
The Center has four (4) fully-equipped Operating Rooms and twelve (12) Recovery Rooms to accommodate our pre-operative and post-operative patients.
The Center Staff includes Registered Nurses (R.N.s) in the Recovery and Operating Rooms with Surgical Technicians. There is an Instrument Technician as well as a Maintenance Engineer. The Office Staff includes a Scheduler, Medical Records Clerk and Receptionist.
The Center has a full time Medical Director who also functions as the Chief of Anesthesia. There are also other anesthesiologists on staff as well.
X-ray services and biomedical engineering are provided "on-call" by outside services.
